I’m going to be honest here.  I’m a big fan of the Mario Party series.  I got hooked playing the original Mario Party with friends on lazy afternoons, and I haven’t looked back.  It’s somehow simultaneously a board game and a video game, pioneering the use of minigames to achieve satisfying bursts of gameplay.  The whole cast of the Mario series is there, including the oft forgotten Waluigi, Luigi’s evil counterpart.  Both Peach and Daisy make appearances to either fight over Mario or wisely split the Mario bros between each other.  I assume Daisy gets stuck with the awkward brother, Luigi, perhaps as punishment for her ridiculous spray tan.  I recommend you pick up a Mario Party cartridge and play it until the leads wear.  It’s fun, it’s bizarre, and once in a while you accidentally break a lamp with your controller.  Don’t bother with the DS versions though: Mario Party is meant to be shared on a big screen.
